Hi,
I have a question as to what to do when yr CMR session is interrupted.
Today I had been "resting" for about 15 minutes when suddenly my cell phone rang - I had put it on charge.
I did get up & answer it as I thought it may be important (it wasn't!). I talked for about 3 minutes & then went back to my session.
I was surprised to find that I could just instantly pick up from basically where I had left with very little trouble. Once I had done that & felt "rested" once more, maybe only a couple of minutes, I then ended off with the 2+1.
Is this a recommended way to recover from such an unexpected intrusion?
And, yes, I will certainly make sure that mobile is turned off BEFORE I go into session next time

Generally, it is best to go back to your session of Conscious Mental Rest as if you were starting from the beginning again, and continue in the process for about 5 minutes before starting to end the session with the 2 + 1 procedure.
So you basically did the right thing, but it would have been better if the 2 minutes of CMR had been 5. This just helps to settle the system again after a sudden interruption that can often have quite a jarring effect. If we're not well settled when we leave the CMR session, then later in the day we may feel a little scratchy and not quite as smooth as we'd like to feel.

Thanks Gavin - just what I needed to know - 5 minutes return to "resting" next time before ending off.
And I must say that I did find it difficult to get to sleep last night & then woke up with a headache this morning which is most unusual for me.
AND THEN, to top it off, right in the middle of my first morning session I was nearly interrupted AGAIN & decided to end off when I realized I wasn't going to be interrupted afterall & was able to continue again - oh brother! Well, as the saying goes - "if it never rains "interruptions", it pours" - ha ha!
But my headache disappeared rapidly once I was in that first morning session - stress dissolving - ahhhhhh .....
